Foolishness in End-Times

1 Corinthians 1:27 KJV

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Secular foolishness, or that of a worldly nature, is defined by a lack of judgement or engaging in something lacking sense. In other words, it goes against God’s Law and his Natural Plan. The wiles of satan are thus marked by his ungodly foolishness, which leads to destruction.

Biblical foolishness can be defined as those actions aligned with God’s Law, which confound the reasoning of the worldly. God’s grand design is inconceivable to mankind. Its ultimate achievement being the establishment of his heavenly kingdom here on a new earth. In the last book of the Bible, The Book of Revelation, we see the outline of its creation and God will reveal its circumstances as he sees fit. Another thing to remember is that God’s timeline is not Man’s – he completes his work outside our linear concept of time. Revelation contains considerable metaphorical imagery and mystery. Many Biblical Scholars have attempted to decipher it, with differing conclusions. Layman also struggle with its meaning, myself included (Laywoman).

Only Our Almighty God controls its unfolding. It ought to be very clear to Christians that satan has no say in the matter. His sole aim is to sow as much confusion as possible and corrupt the souls of God’s children, leading them to Hell. His time is becoming shorter, and he knows it. So he lashes out; causing much fear and destruction in his wake across the globe. However, God reigns omnipotent:

Psalm 146:9 KJV

The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

What seems to make sense to Christians may not be representative of God’s desire, or direction. The Book of Revelation contains truth, God’s truth. We can only speculate and pray regarding its message. Are there specific circumstances of it coming to pass? Absolutely. We see various wars. Pestilence occurs around the world. Household/Family Members are turning against one another. The creation of a digital chip, required to buy/sell items will be introduced (do not accept it, we are told we will forfeit our entry into heaven if we do).

End Times Prophecy is coming to pass. Who knows how each subsequent event will unfold? What are the identities and functions of the various End-Times’ related personalities? How will the End Times’ timeline play out? We are viewing extremely disturbing events in current news. When will Jesus Christ return as Judge?

Matthew 24:42 KJV

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Prepare yourselves, fellow Christians. Read and study your Bibles daily (for an extended period of time), pray unceasingly, sing hymns of praise, uplift your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and guide wayward souls to him.

2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
